Catching up on reading. This is a great little tutorial from @briancoords@wpbuilds.social using the new #WordPress #JavaScript packages. https://www.briancoords.com/recreating-the-quick-draft-dashboard-widget-using-the-wordpress-data-layer/ The JSX + components seem like such a no-brainer. But I realise I’m basically allergic to big piles of dependencies. If I build this, how long until it breaks? 🤔

OK, this is kinda wild. The bookmarklet (!!) version of my #WordPress command palette, Turbo Admin, is now the latest beta version complete with all the new search modes (inc WooCommerce). Today’s WordlePress puzzle is even harder than normal! Something to learn perhaps. HOWEVER! The link to the #WordPress docs when you win or give up doesn’t work. Seems like this particular function isn’t documented. Not much I can do about that. Sorry.

A big lump of fun “recreational coding” this weekend. Wanted to tackle WordlePress – my SUPER difficult and vaguely educational #WordPress function guessing game. #WordPress Given the accessibility issues, isn’t the solution to launching Gutenberg at #WCUS to have it opt-in on update/install and with an option to opt back out if you decide you don’t want it? Which is kinda how I ALWAYS said it should be released?
