I’ve been working on a Big and Important Thing at work on-and-off for about 8 months. It concluded today with a go-live that was, as far as we know, totally error free. Which, given the complexity of the job, is quite something. I’m gonna put this down to:
– Tests
– Structuring your work well
– Reviews by excellent colleagues
– Detailed planning
– Anticipating and mitigating for problems
