This Tony’s Chocoloney I got for Father’s Day is going to melt if I don’t eat it real soon, right?

I have an idea. How about an LLM that you can give a set of really precise instructions to that ensure that it always generates the same output for any given input.
Like, some kind of special language for directing its behaviour.
You could make it do all sorts of things.
It could be a web server, generating HTML pages based on user input. Or it could work as a layer in front of a database. It could have agent mode that lets you see what files are on your computer!
Imagine the possibilities!!

So my kid (13) is making a game in Godot. It’s very impressive. He’s done all of the beautiful art and animation himself and has even made a trailer!
I’d love it if you could give it a like and admire his creativity.

Fathers Day.
– 3 loads of washing
– Oversaw a handyman doing some work
– Built a pergola for the deck
– Dismantled a desk; moved 2 other desks; assembled a fourth desk
Not bad!! 💪😅

Mathew Baynton’s prize task in this week’s TaskMaster is such a well-executed piece of comedy. 👏 👏 👏

I ordered these a while ago as a fun gift to myself. They’re very well done!! 😁

I caught a bit of the Apple Keynote.
The bit with the fitness buddy.
Later, I caught up with The Verge’s live blog (the best way to watch WWDC Keynote, IMO)
It was very much as I expected.
😂

I hear such good things about them. And I’m curious about the ear health stuff too.
Is it time to invest? Or are they hype?

I hate that I’m even asking this question, but has anyone got 2nd Gen Air Pods Pros and has an opinion on them?
The seem like they would be the most ridiculously expensive, £ for lb, gadget. But:
– My wife will soon be joining me in our garden office and having lots of calls – I need some good noise cancelling.
– Regular AirPods have never stayed in my ears.
– Big “cans” make me too hot.
– They’re currently £40 off!!

Putting this in my design inspiration folder. I want Turbo Admin (my WordPress command palette) to look like this.

I’m not a big car person. But I love Jack’s reviews on the Fully Charged Show.
Though this one beats up my home town (Swindon, UK) just a little too much. 🔥

This is a new one…

Asides:
– Product updates are hard work, aren't they? Testing, videos, documentation, more testing, blog posts, social posts.
– I always write too much. I'm sorry. But I'm also not.

It's here! v1.20 of Turbo Admin for #WordPress is rolling out through auto updates in your browser.
It has the mythical plugin installs and user switching in the command palette. And it's great!!
Also:
– I may start using an email list for customer updates soon.
– There may be a price rise coming!
Read all about it:

And see it in action…

As a rare treat, we have a jar of Nutella.
I have read the ingredients.
And it makes me think that food stuffs should be required to describe themselves in terms of their ingredient proportions.
E.g. Nutella should not be “Hazelnut spread with cocoa”
It should be “Sugar oil with nuts and cocoa”!

Today in browser extension development, I have run into an 11-year-old bug in Firefox that only affects JavaScript in browser extensions, and that has still not been fixed properly!
Crikey!
Also… ARGH!!!!

My #WordPress browser extension Turbo Admin’s next release is so close!
– Plugin install from the repo
– User switching integration
– Fast, cached search of installed plugins
– Kinsta staging domains
– Much better multisite integration (and other new features very thoroughly tested on it!)
– Better REST API discovery = fewer error states
I just hit some issues with final testing, but it’s coming in the next few days!

Ugh.
I actually liked Arc. It was good. Full of good ideas. But many of the best ideas have just been copied.
But it always bothered me that they were constantly pivoting. I won't trust Dia to be around long. This company has zero stability.
I'm amazed his investors haven't asked for their money back.
