I find it bizarre that the council ask the public what they think of solutions to traffic congestion. We donât have survey data. We donât have modelling software. I assume the traffic planners do? Canât we make expensive decisions based on data rather than guesswork and opinion?

Oooh. Email spam with a valid-but-very-old password quoted in it. Interesting. That’s gonna freak a LOT of people out!

Amazing to see so many people out playing Beat the Street in Swindon (https://beatthestreet.me/swindon). People are being so friendly and helpful. Special shout out to drivers who are giving families loads of time and space to cross busy roads. đđđ

This post also expands on some Tweets from the other day. I really should blog first, Tweet later, I know.
This one asks: âDo website owners need a âdriving licenceâ, or should websites be more âself-drivingâ?â

Expanding on some Tweets from the other day⌠âCharging up the SchoolBotâ gives more detail on recent updates, says âYeah, thereâs nothing difficult going hereâ, shrugs its shoulders, and walks away.

Last week I used the word “pragmatic” and some weren’t sure what it meant. As an example, here’s a post about what I would call “pragmatic” programming:
