Our primary school teachers have my utmost respect. It's sad that they have to put so much time and effort into getting 10/11 year olds to pass a stupid set of government-mandated tests that are more about the school (and probably the government) than the children.
I can't help but thing that outcomes would be better if year 6 was things like fun and interesting (yes, it is once the SATs are done!).
