I think this is also true…

I think this is also true…

I stand corrected. The last post was a Euler Diagram!
I made more informative parenting charts. This is a Venn diagram.

Computers and the internet are great, brilliant, amazing things. But there’s something special about just feeling the grass beneath your feet.
I don’t know if this is interesting, but maybe it gives some insight into the breadth of my work in a given week. “What are you up to?”
#sourdough My sandwiches will be an interesting shape this week. 😕

We stayed in this beautiful, Hobbiton-like place in Cornwall, in a 2-room Glamping Pod. Brilliant!

#sourdough This is not going well. All stuck to my banneton. 🙁

#sourdough My starter definitely survived in the fridge while we holidayed. But this does not seem to have risen much overnight. Hmm. Left it to prove a bit this morning. Could be a bit of a brick.

Breaking news: 2.5 year old has developed strong opinions about whether or not she wants to go to nursery. 😱
Also: has anyone seen my 6yo’s scooter?!
I hate the name “Daily Greatness”, but going to ty to start using this again. I don’t use the business parts of it much. But I like the weekly/daily planning and time-blocking and creative/motivational aspects.

Some things on the internet are inexplicably difficult. e.g. Bloom (WordPress email opt-in plugin) + MailChimp + Groups + GDPR fields. They really do NOT work together.
Yet.

It seems that MailChimp’s own forms are the only way to set their GDPR consent on a new user. Is this right? Or can I pass it in using the API?
Huh. Interesting day. Mostly admin, but ended with realising that Bloom (WordPress Plugin) + MailChimp Groups + MailChimp GDPR forms really doesn’t work – whichever way you slice it! And most of my workarounds to get it working we’re fruitless too.
Man, embedding your own video on micro.blog and Mastodon is painful.
More holiday fun: loved Glendurgan’s gardens – especially the maze!
Fun with automata at Falmouth Arts Museum

I try not to post about being ON holiday. But I’m back from a fantastic trip to Devon and Cornwall. The chaos resumes!!
#css Well if I haven’t been using :before and :after incorrectly all these years… https://css-tricks.com/to-double-colon-or-not-do-double-colon/
This will be a bit boring for people that know me, but I wanted to start writing more about what I’m up to (learning and working and life) and this serves as an introduction and background.
What I (actually) do! : https://rosswintle.uk/2018/08/what-i-actually-do/
